It seems Hugh Jackman, who is getting ready to return as Wolverine in the movie "Deadpool & Wolverine," has come up with his admiration for Indian cricket and identified Rohit Sharma as his favorite player. In a video clippings, Jackman confessed to being a huge admirer of cricket and named Sharma above others, who happens to be the captain of the Indian Cricket team.
"I'm a huge cricket fan," Jackman revealed, touting Sharma as captain. He also celebrated India's recent T20 World Cup win and made sure to demonstrate his happiness for the team.
On 29 June, fittingly, India emerged victorious in the cupid T20 World Cup under the captainship of Rohit Sharma, a momentous event since their first win 17 years ago under the able captainship of M.S. Dhoni. This was right after the emergence of India's poor show in the 2023 Cricket World Cup with their defeat against Pat Cummins's Australia team.
Jackman is starring in "Deadpool & Wolverine" with his long-time friend Ryan Reynolds and took to social media to share updates regarding the film. Slated for release on July 26, the film will be released in languages like English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
