RCB player Yash Dayal is named in an FIR filed over charges of sexual exploitation, police sources said on Tuesday.
Preliminary information from the complaint filed at the Indirapuram police station on Sunday mentioned Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which deals with sexual relations procured by deceit, including on the basis of false promises of marriage, a senior official confirmed.
The FIR was lodged after a complaint filed by a woman against UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) on June 21. The woman, in her complaint, accused Dayal, with whom she had apparently been in a relationship for five years, of physically exploiting her.
