Due to groin soreness, David Warner will be absent from the final T20I match against New Zealand in Auckland. However, he is expected to make a full recovery in time for the commencement of the IPL next month.
Warner was rested during the second T20I on Friday as part of Australia's rotation strategy for the series.
According to a report from Cricket Australia, while the injury necessitates a brief recovery period in Australia, it is unlikely to affect his availability for the Delhi Capitals in the upcoming Indian Premier League. Furthermore, it is stated that the injury will not hinder his participation in the forthcoming T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and USA, which is slated to be his final appearance in international cricket.
