Will think twice before giving tickets to Muslims in future: Mayawati

In a recent statement, Mayawati said that she would think twice before granting tickets to Muslims in future so that her party does not face losses similar to the recent Lok Sabha elections.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati has expressed her disappointment over the voting pattern of Muslims , despite having been given adequate representation by her party.

In a recent statement, Mayawati said that she would think twice before granting tickets to Muslims in future so that her party does not face losses similar to the recent Lok Sabha elections.

She acknowledged the important role of Dalits in improving the BSP's prospects in the elections and thanked the community for standing firmly behind her.

The BSP supremo  further said that she is committed to advance the mission of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and his ideological principles.

Mayawati also highlighted the fact that bad weather conditions and severe heat conditions lead to a lower voter turnout, and thus the Election Commission should consider such factors in future elections.

She pointed out that elections should not be held for such long durations as it adversely affects the mindset of the voters.
