Revanth Reddy sent my bogus video on reservation, said Amit Shah during a rally in T'gana

Recently, the circulation of a forged video of his speech on social media that he had made about reservation for tribals, Dalits and OBCs, among other issues, was highlighted by Shah. He said the party government headed by A. Revanth Reddy would never scrap the reservations for tribals, Dalits and OBCs, as long as there was even one BJP MP in Parliament. He said the Congress-driven Muslim reservation was 'unconstitutional' and promised to scrap it. The party would also increase the percentage of reservation for tribals and Dalits once the BJP is elected to power in Telangana.

At a rally at Sirpur Kagaz Nagar in Adilabad Lok Sabha constituency, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of spreading a fake video about reservation policies. The home minister said the Congress was conducting election campaigns based on falsehoods.

Shah accused the Congress of favouring Muslims at the expense of diluting the rights of SCs, STs and OBCs. He contended that the party seemed inclined to enforce the Muslim personal law in governance. The Congress and the BRS were not capable of checking the rise of Asaduddin Owaisi and the 'Razakars' in Telangana, Shah maintained.

Shah said the party would celebrate the Hyderabad Liberation Day every year. He criticized the Congress for allegedly transforming Telangana into a financial resource for the party, with lakhs of money diverted daily.

Shah believed the BJP was gaining popularity in Telangana. He expressed his party's confidence in winning more than 10 Lok Sabha seats in future elections. He compared the leadership styles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. He alleged Modi had a clean record, in contrast to Gandhi, who enjoyed the privilege of being born in a well-off family.

Shah urged the electorate in Adilabad constituency to elect BJP candidate G. Nagesh with a huge margin, framing the electoral contest as between the NDA led by Modi and the 'INDIA bloc' under the leadership of Gandhi, using instances of Modi's supposed integrity and modest origins over the backdrop of the privileged Gandhi. He felt optimistic about the BJP's chances in the third phase, going for a huge increase in vote share.
