Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, alleged on Friday that he has been informed by sources within the Enforcement Directorate (ED) about a potential raid being planned in response to his recent "chakravyuh" speech in Parliament.
Gandhi expressed his readiness for the raid, saying he is “waiting with open arms.”
In a post on X early Friday, Gandhi stated, “It seems that 2 in 1 didn’t appreciate my Chakravyuh speech. ED insiders have hinted at a raid being organized.” He added, “I’m waiting with open arms @dir_ed... Tea and biscuits are on me.”
During his speech, Gandhi employed the ‘chakravyuh’ metaphor to depict a climate of fear created by a group of six, which he claimed has ensnared the nation. He vowed that the INDIA bloc would dismantle this ‘chakravyuh.’
In his Lok Sabha address on the Budget 2024-25, Gandhi assured that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) would secure the passage of a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP) and a caste census in the House.
