Mohan Yadav has emerged as the chosen successor for the position of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
This pivotal decision transpired during the legislative party meeting convened at the state BJP headquarters. Alongside this appointment, former minister Rajendra Shukla and the outgoing Finance Minister have been designated as Deputy Chief Ministers. Adding to this significant lineup, senior BJP luminary and former Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been entrusted with the role of the Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
At 58 years old, Yadav, who secured victory in the Assembly elections representing Ujjain South, previously served as the Higher Education Minister in Shivraj Singh Chouhan's preceding Cabinet. His proximity to Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, the figure overseeing the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, is widely acknowledged.
