His arrival in the Wayanad district on Tuesday was met with an enthusiastic reception in Kalpetta town, with party supporters thronging the streets to greet him.

"Rahul Gandhi has betrayed the trust of the voters who bestowed upon him a significant mandate. Wayanad is yearning for progress, and this time around, the scenario will be different as people have come to understand the essence of the 'Modi Guarantee,' as demonstrated by the Prime Minister to the nation. With PM Modi's resolve, Wayanad is poised to flourish like never before," remarked Surendran.

During the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Rahul Gandhi secured a resounding victory in Wayanad, clinching a staggering lead of 4.31 lakh votes.
