On being asked whether he would contest on a BJP ticket, Singh was evasive, saying, "Let time arrive, then everything will get clear."

Singh has been busy taking on BJP leaders on social media in the last few weeks, which has given rise to further speculation. He wished BJP leader and actor Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua) a happy birthday on February 2, followed by wishes to BJP MP and actor Manoj Tiwari on February 1 and former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on January 8.

Piling on the suspense, Pawan Singh's wife, Jyoti Singh, also declared that she would be contesting the Bihar Assembly elections. She revealed that she would be joining a political party soon and is mulling over contesting from either the Karakat or Dehri Assembly constituency.

Jyoti was actively engaged in social work and had been campaigning for Pawan in Karakat during the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, solidifying her relationship with the local voters.

Pawan Singh, a candidate who was in the field for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as an Independent for Karakat constituency, fought aggressively against both candidates of the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan, but lost against CPI-ML's Rajaram Singh Kushwaha. Going in as an Independent candidate saw him expelled by the BJP.

As Pawan and Jyoti are preparing to fight the Bihar Assembly elections, everyone wants to know—will they join hands with the BJP or will they opt for something else? Everyone is waiting with bated breath for their next moves in the months to come.
