In a recent development concerning the alleged chanting of pro-Pakistan slogans within the premises of the Assembly in Bengaluru, R. Ashoka, the leader of the opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, unveiled photographs on Tuesday depicting one of the arrested individuals alongside Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Ashoka further accused the Congress party of fostering anti-national sentiments and harboring members associated with the so-called 'tukde-tukde' gang.
Highlighting the purported connection between @INCIndia and the 'Tukde Tukde' gang, Ashoka tweeted, "In yet another testament to the deep nexus between @INCIndia and Tukde Tukde gang, Mohammad Iltaz, the traitor who raised pro-Pakistan slogans in Karnataka seems to be a partner in Waynad MP @RahulGandhi’s ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’," accompanying the tweet with the shared images.
He added, "The 'terror guarantee' of @INCKarnataka will receive a fitting response from the people of Karnataka in the Lok Sabha polls."
Mohammad Iltaz, a resident of Delhi, is among the three individuals apprehended by the Bengaluru police during their investigation into the matter.
According to police sources, Iltaz traveled to Bengaluru to partake in the victory celebrations of Congress' Rajya Sabha nominee Syed Naseer Hussain, during which the alleged pro-Pakistan slogans were raised.
