Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh said on Monday that after the 'Pran Pratishtha' or the consecration at the Ram temple, Hindu people are now waiting eagerly for a decision on the birthplace of Lord Krishna at Mathura.
Lord Ram has come back to his birth place Ayodhya. This was CM Yadav's claim while addressing a public meeting in Mumbai on the last day of campaigning for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections scheduled for November 20. He claimed that the battle for Lord Krishna's birth place Mathura will also be settled in the coming days.
He was referring to the ongoing legal battle over the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Eidgah mosque dispute in Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh. According to the allegation of the Hindu petitioners, Krishna's birthplace lies underneath the mosque, while the Muslim side contends that the mosque does not come under the disputed land.
"Ram temple was built under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, and now we all are waiting for the decision on the birthplace of Krishna in Mathura. We will get back that too soon," CM Yadav said, urging the people of Maharashtra to support the BJP to make PM Modi stronger.
Leaders of the Opposition bloc will raise questions on the Ram temple. Not a single leader from the opposition visited the Ram temple since it was inaugurated," he added while criticizing the Opposition bloc for questioning the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram temple.
