Forgoing the heavy bridal trousseau, the actor glowed in an opal green handloom saree encrusted with a blush pink border, along with a matching pink blouse — all of which were created by the master himself, Manish Malhotra.
In her latest Instagram update, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress gave a candid peek into her special day, posting never-seen-before pictures and revealing how minimal she remained in her vision.
"It was so comforting to see that I was able to be as minimalist as I imagined I could be on this gorgeous and personal milestone of a day," she wrote. "No heavy lehengas, heavy make-up or heavy jewellery, no elaborate hairdos or ornate accessories."
Hina shared that to her, the emotional depth of the day by far eclipsed any requirement for glamour. "Did not have to do any of it, as from inside, I was satisfied with the simplicity of love and care everywhere around me. That alone mattered. And that made me Glowwwww.Alhamdullilah," she summed up in perfect expression of her happiness.
Completing the beauty of her bridal ensemble was a pale pink veil with a scalloped trim, thrown casually over her head, adding poise to her open-hair look. Her saree possessed a lovely personal touch — the names "Hina" and "Rocky" embroidered on the fabric, making the outfit even more personal.
Her choice of jewelry was based on ageless sophistication. She had been sporting traditional Kundan work — choker-style necklace, maang tikka, earrings, and bangles — all adding a touch to her look without overpowering it.
