Joshi shared the news on X, stating, "Interim Budget Session 2024, the last session of the Seventeenth Lok Sabha, will be held from 31st January to 9th February, featuring the Hon'ble President's address to the Parliament. On 1st February, Finance Minister @nsitharaman will present the Interim Union Budget."

Given that the term of the 17th Lok Sabha concludes on June 16, this session is crucial as the last parliamentary gathering before the official announcement of general elections. In 2019, Lok Sabha polls were declared on March 10, with voting taking place in seven phases from April 11 to May 19.
