Sekharipuram Narayanan Subrahmanyan, also known as S.N. Subrahmanyan, is the CEO and Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T), an Indian multinational conglomerate company. Soon after Anil Manibhai Naik stepped down, Subrahmanyan became the CEO of the company on 1 July 2017.
Subrahmanyan started his career in 1984 by joining the Larsen & Toubro ECC division and worked with the leaders of the company like former joint MD Cheyur Ramaswamy Ramakrishnan, former president and Deputy MD A Ramakrishna and Former President, ECC K V Rangaswami. S.N. Subrahmanyan worked hard and put his heart in his efforts.
In July 2011, Subrahmanyan became full-time Director in the Larsen & Toubro Board and was appointed as the Member of the Board and Senior Executive Vice President of L&T Construction. In October 2015, Sekharipuram was given the Position of Deputy MD & President in the Company and after 2 years, in 2017, he was appointed as the CEO and MD of the Larsen & Toubro Ltd. After becoming the CEO of this multinational conglomerate, he has shown his great leadership qualities and helped the company grow more.
In 2022, for his excellent performance as the CEO, S.N. Subrahmanyan was declared the Best CEO in the Infrastructure Sector of the Fortune India Best CEOs and also got the Best CEO award in the Infrastructure and Engineering Category of the BT-PwC India’s Best CEOs Ranking.

S.N. Subrahmanyan was Born on 16 March, 1960, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Subrahmanyan completed his schooling from Vidya Mandir Senior School, Mylapore in Chennai and for his graduation, he went to Regional Engineering College in Kurukshetra (Currently known as National Institute of Technology in Kurukshetra) and persuaded Civil Engineering course. S.N. Subrahmanyan earned his Masters degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune and after that he completed Executive Management Programme from London Business School. He is Married to Meena and they have two sons Sujay and Suraj.
