Rajkummar Rao was born on 31 August 1984 in a middle-class family in Gurgaon. His real name is Rajkummar Yadav, is an Indian actor who not only earned his place in Bollywood in a short span of time but also won many big awards like National Film Awards. He had the passion for acting since he was in tenth grade.
He has done his graduation in arts from Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Delhi University. He studied acting from Film and Television Institute of India. In 2008, he completed his studies in the city of dreams, Mumbai, to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor.
Many people came to this city to fulfill their dreams, but their dreams remain incomplete. But Rajkummar rao was not among them. He wanted to go ahead and create a different identity and his inspiration was Shahrukh Khan. Rao believed that if ShahRukh Khan from outside can make his name and his identity in this film world, then why not me?
With this inspiration, Rao kept moving forward and in 2010, his first film was 'LOVE SEX and CHEAT'. After doing a few more rolls, he made headlines once again with 'Kai Po Che' in 2013. After this, he was awarded for the best actor and film critics award for the role of Shahid Azmi in the biographical drama Shahid. After this, he showed his acting in one of the films like 'Queen, Citylights'.
He received the Asia Pacific Screen Award for playing the best role of a government clerk in Newton.
Rajkumar is a very simple person, he has never been a part of any controversy. Whatever he has achieved today in his life on the strength of his hard work.
