Kushal Pal Singh, also known as K.P. Singh, is the Chairman and CEO of Delhi Land & Finance (DLF Limited), a real estate developer. DLF Limited was Founded on 4 July 1946 by Kushal Pal’s Father-in-Law Chaudhary Raghvender Singh. As of December 2022, Kushal Pal Singh has $ 8. 3 billion net worth, according to Forbes.
Kushal is an ex-army officer, he was selected in the Indian Army by British Officers Services Selection Board, UK. Later in 1951, he was commissioned into the Deccan Horse but left army in year 1961 and joined DLF Limited. He has also worked with American Universal Electric Company and in the year 1979 after its merger with DLF Universal Limited, Kushal was appointed as the managing director. Singh put his effort and with his great leader ship he became the CEO of DLF Limited.
As the CEO of DLF, Singh’s aim was to develop the company to a large extend and he work according to it and build a DLF City in Gurgaon. By Forbes Kushal Pal has been ranked as the 8th richest person in the world in year 2008 whereas in the year 2019, according to the India Rich list, Singh is 25th richest Indian. On 26 January 2010, Indian Government has awarded him Padma Bhusan and for his contribution in the development of Delhi, he has been honoured with Delhi Ratna Award. In Year 2011, at The Asian Awards, Singh earned the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Kushal Pal Singh was born on 15th of November, 1931, in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. After completing his Schooling, Singh completed his graduation in Science from Meerut College, Uttar Pradesh and after graduation he studied aeronautical engineering in the UK. Kushal Pal Singh is married to Indira Singh and they have a son, Rajiv Singh and daughters, Renuka and Pia Singh.
