Kunal Bahl, an Indian entrepreneur and investor is the Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer(CEO) and executive director of Snapdeal. Bahl began his career with Microsoft and later co-founded his own e-commerce company Snapdeal with Rohit Bansal.
Kunal Bahl, soon after completing his graduation, joined Microsoft and worked for the multinational technology corporation, for a short period. Because of the visa issue, he had to leave the USA and return back to India in 2007.
In 2010, Bahl with Rohit Bansal, co-founded the e-commerce company Snapdeal. Kunal has also started Titan Capital with Rohit Bansal, which has invested heavily in over 200+ Indian startups within the last few years.
In 2022, Snapdeal assumed the group corporate identity of AceVector, which houses multiple businesses such as Snapdeal, Unicommerce, Stellaro Brands.
He has also been linked with several industry associations and think-tanks. Kunal has been on the board of governors of the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations, a member of the executive council of NASSCOM, and the chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Committee on E-commerce.
Additionally, he also serves on the National Startup Advisory Council, a committee to advise the Indian government on efforts needed to build a strong startup ecosystem.
On the Board of Piramal Enterprises, an Indian conglomerate, Kunal serves as an Independent Director.
Kunal Bahl, born in New Delhi, India, did his schooling from Delhi Public School R. K. Puram (DPS) New Delhi. He later went abroad for higher studies and graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, earning two bachelor's degrees in Entrepreneurship, Operation & Information Management from The Wharton School and Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. After this, he finished an executive marketing program from Kellogg School of Management and later got a job at Microsoft. Kunal Bahl is now married to Yashna.
