John Donahoe is the CEO and President of Nike, an American multinational corporation, which works for designing developing, manufacturing and worldwide marketing and sale of footwear, apparel, sports equipment, accessories and etc. Nike was founded in 1964. Soon after Mark Parker Stepped down, Donahoe became the CEO of the company on January 13, 2020.
Donahoe started his career with lots of struggle as at the starting, he worked in Schlitz beer distribution company which was owned by his friend’s Father and joined the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. After that he worked in Brain & Company as an associate consultant and then in the year 1999, Donahoe was appointed as the president and CEO of this Company. Later that year, he joined eBay Company where with his hard work and efforts was noticed by the top management. In March 2005, John was appointed as eBay Marketplaces President.
In the Year 2008, eBay appointed John Donahoe as the CEO. As the CEO, he helped the company attain more growth leading to more than 40 acquisitions including Shopping.com, StubHub and sites like Gumtree and LoQUo. In 2015, he was replaced by Devin Weing and after leaving eBay in February 2017, he was named as the President and CEO of ServiceNow a software company.
In October 2019, John Donahoe was nominated as the next CEO of Nike and after 2 months he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. John has been doing good work as the CEO of the company by using his great leadership quality. He is responsible for the Growth of NIKE’s global business portfolio.

John Donahoe was born on 30th of April, 1960 in Evanston Illinois. Donahoe completed his schooling from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. For his bachelor’s, he went to Dartmouth College and got bachelor’s degree in economics. After that Donahoe went to Stanford Graduate School of Business for MBA. Donahoe is married to Eileen Donahoe and they have three sons and a daughter.
