Emmanuel Besnier is the chief executive officer of Lactalis, a French multinational dairy products corporation founded by his grandfather Andre Besnier in 1933. Lactalis is currently the largest dairy products company in the world. As of April 2023, according to Forbes, Emmanuel Besnier has a net worth of $22.6 billion.

Lactalis owns many dairy and food brands such as Parmalat, Président, Siggi’s Dairy, Rachel’s Organic, and many more. Emmanuel also received the Mayennais of the Year award in 2006 from a local Rotary Club. According to Forbes’ 2023 billionaires list, Emmanuel Besnier is the 71st billionaire in the world.

Emmanuel Besnier was born on September 18th, 1970, in Laval, Mayenne, France. He completed his schooling at Lycée de l'Immaculée-Conception, a Roman Catholic private Lycée (a secondary school in France that is funded by the state) in Laval. Later, he graduated from ISG Business School in Paris. Emmanuel is married to Sandrine, and they have three children.
