Emmanuel joined his family company and worked as a director of development, contributing to the growth of the business. After the death of his father Michel Besnier in 2000, Emmanuel became the CEO of the company. He is also the major shareholder of his family's company.

Emmanuel Besnier was born on September 18th, 1970, in Laval, Mayenne, France. He completed his schooling at Lycée de l'Immaculée-Conception, a Roman Catholic private Lycée (a secondary school in France that is funded by the state) in Laval. Later, he graduated from ISG Business School in Paris. Emmanuel is married to Sandrine, and they have three children.
