It is said that the alcoholism became rampant after the war, and that there was little food, and lots of poverty throughout the country due to the post-war occupation.  As it was these conditions that negatively impacted the moral of many of the men throughout the country for years, including Arnold’s father.

It was these initial conditions that would eventually motivate Arnold to want to escape from Austria to America as soon as he could.  After five years of learning of his success plan, and after putting in five hours a day six days a week in the gym, Arnold would become the youngest European Champion bodybuilder at the astonishing age of 20.  And for the next 15 years Arnold would go on to Dominate the field of bodybuilding.

Throughout all of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s achievements in body building, he would never lose sight of his main goal, which was to become a big time Hollywood movie star.  He kept his eye on the prize. And sure enough before he turned 30 he made a name for himself in Hollywood  after being awarded with a Golden Globe award for new male star of the year.  And just a few years after that, Arnold would blow up in the industry after being cast as Conan the Barbarian.

From this point forward, Arnold would go on to achieve superstar status in around the world, as he would go on to make hit after hit with movies like:

After decades of success in front of the silver screen, Arnold would turn his sights onto politics.  As such, he ran for governor of California and succeeded in winning the office.  With that he became the 38th Governor of the state of California. 

To be sure, Arnold is still on the prowl and seeking out newer and bigger accomplishments.  Since his final days in politics, he’s published multiple books, become involved in philanthropic causes, continues to build his sizeable net worth, and keeps busy with various new projects in the fitness and movie industry.
