Officially engaged: That's what "Spider-Man" co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland are according to family sources.
The news comes after Zendaya attended the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday sporting a large diamond ring on her left-hand ring finger. However, Holland did not attend the ceremony.
A family source confirmed to People magazine that the couple, both 28, got engaged over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Another source close to the couple revealed that those close to them knew an engagement was on the horizon, as Holland had been looking forward to proposing for a long time.
"He's always been crazy about her," the source said. "He always knew she was the one. They have something very special."
Though the engagement is official, the couple is not in a hurry to get married. "They will just enjoy things for now," the source said. "They're both busy with work, and Tom has always had this sweet way of letting the world know Zendaya is his. Now, it's official — she really is."
Holland and Zendaya will be reprising their roles for the fourth Spider-Man film, which begins filming this summer. The two actors first met on the set of 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming where Holland played the iconic superhero Peter Parker and Zendaya played his girlfriend, MJ.
They reprised their roles in Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). The couple will also be appearing together in Christopher Nolan's new film, The Odyssey.
