Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has just added a new luxury vehicle to her stable — the Range Rover Autobiography.
Her new addition is hot on the heels of cricketer Sanju Samson being seen with the same car. The Autobiography, renowned for being a favorite among the elite, already sits in the showrooms of stars like Pooja Hegde, Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, and Sanjay Dutt.
The upgrade emerged in the social media scene, with the clips indicating that Malaika had collected her SUV. She seems to have gone for a grey color based on the footage. Land Rover also makes the model available in such colors as Santorini Black, Borasco Grey, Eiger Grey, Hakuba Silver, and Varesine Blue, in addition to a number of other Satin and Gloss finishes.
Being one of the most luxurious SUVs available in India, the Range Rover Autobiography is packed with top-of-the-line features. Some of these include a 13.2-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver's display, voice commands, a head-up display, four-zone climate control, Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Meridian surround sound system, as well as 24-way heated and cooled seats with a massage function.
Under the bonnet, customers have a variety of engine combinations to select from, although the 3.0-litre P400 Ingenium turbocharged inline-6 mild-hybrid petrol engine is the most sought-after. With 394 hp and 550 Nm of torque under the hood, the engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. Even with its weight, the SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, marrying comfort and performance. Though it is quite capable off-road, most of its celebrity owners prefer driving it within city limits.
With the recent GST revisions, revised prices on the Autobiography are to follow. The manufacturer has confirmed a price cut of up to Rs 30.4 lakh (ex-showroom), making the SUV all the more enticing for high-end car buyers.
