Sara Ali Khan took the limelight on Day 7 of Hyundai India Couture Week 2025 as she elegantly walked the runway for designer Aisha Rao.
The actress turned heads in a beautiful rose gold Banarasi tissue brocade lehenga, which was topped with intricately hand-worked applique detailing.
The outfit had a combination of geometric motifs and playful floral motifs combined with beadwork and crystal embroidery, fusing traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
Commenting on the outfit, Metro In Dino star wrote what caught her attention most was how "light and effortless" it was. "Each piece is done so carefully while being playful, graceful and beautifully crafted," she noted, saying, "I'm so happy I get to wear something that feels so me today.
Sara also spoke about her own personal approach to fashion, whether she views it as protection or self-expression. "I think it is a mixture of self-expression at times and someone else's expression, both," she said. When questioned about her style philosophy, she provided a gem of ageless wisdom: "I think you have to make sure that you wear the outfit as opposed to the outfit wearing you. That is important to me."
Designer Aisha Rao, who has a penchant for bold style, discussed with NDTV the inspiration behind the rather innovative colour palette presented in her collection. "Teak berry and rich green are the two Kohler colors launching this season, and the entire range was done to project those two new colors," Rao discussed.
With her own unique blend of poise, comfort, and naturalness, Sara Ali Khan remains a fashion star, and her creed is one all fashion lovers can hold close.
