Amitabh Bachchan, the iconic Bollywood actor, revisited Ayodhya for a heartfelt visit to the recently consecrated Ram Mandir. Bachchan, who graced the inauguration ceremony earlier this year in January, was captured on Friday making his way to seek blessings at the revered temple. In a video shared by news agency PTI, Bachchan can be seen surrounded by tight security as he approaches the Ram Mandir. The agency captioned the video, "Actor Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) visits Ayodhya's Ram Mandir to offer prayers." Dressed in traditional attire, Bachchan exuded reverence as he embarked on this spiritual journey.
Reports suggest that the actor's visit to Uttar Pradesh also includes the inauguration of a new showroom for a leading jewellery brand, for which he serves as the brand ambassador.
This marks Big B's second visit to the temple in the span of three weeks, following his presence at the pran prathishta ceremony of Ram Mandir on January 22. Accompanied by his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, the father-son duo joined thousands of esteemed guests from various domains including entertainment, sports, and politics. Reflecting on the significance of the event, Bachchan shared glimpses on social media, including images of the Ram Lalla idol within the temple premises. Describing the experience on his blog, he expressed, “A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit... back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya... the glory, the celebration, and the belief of faith... immersed in the reckoning of the TEMPLE at Shri Ram's birth... Not much can be said beyond this... for faith does not possess description...”
Reports also indicate that Amitabh Bachchan has acquired a plot in a prestigious enclave in Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir consecration. Spanning 10,000 sq ft and located just 15 minutes away from the Ram Temple, this plot is believed to hold special significance for the actor.
