Varun Sood Clarifies Off-Screen Bond with Rumoured Girlfriend Namrata Sheth: Emphasizes 'We're Just Good Friends'

Actor Varun Sood has addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding his relationship with co-star Namrata Sheth, coining her as a "just good friend" despite swirling rumors of a romantic connection. The conjecture about Varun Sood and Namrata Sheth's budding romance has been gaining momentum, particularly evident during the trailer launch press conference for their upcoming series, 'Karmma Calling.'

During the event, Varun, alongside producer Ashutosh Shah, shed light on the dynamics between them off-camera. Varun clarified, stating, "We are just good friends. Namrata is a great actor to work with, and not many people know that we first met at an acting workshop." He humorously added, "Namrata absolutely hated me then, but I think because we were both so passionate about what we do, we connected within no time when we met on the sets of Karmma Calling."

Varun expressed his gratitude for Namrata's contribution to the project, saying, "The on-screen and off-screen chemistry was great since day one, and she made things easy for me in every aspect. I'm just glad that Namrata could play Karma Talwar."

Adding to the conversation, Ashutosh Shah, the producer at R.A.T. Films, shared insights into their seamless collaboration, stating, "Our lives as producers became much easier. Whenever we would call Varun, Namrata would always be with him, and it would become easy to coordinate with them."

The series, 'Karmma Calling,' also features renowned actress Raveena Tandon, along with Gaurav Sharma, Waluscha D’souza, Amy Aela, Viraf Patel, and Piyush Khati in pivotal roles. Adapted from the U.S. original series 'Revenge,' which aired from 2011-2015 and was produced by ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios, the show promises an engaging narrative with a stellar cast.
