Actor Varun Dhawan recently shed light on the budding romance between star duo Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani long before the public was privy to their relationship.
While Sidharth and Kiara had maintained a low profile about their union until they exchanged vows, subtle gestures shared between them during private gatherings and occasions didn't escape the keen eyes of filmmaker Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan.
Reflecting on the earlier times, Karan recalled, "I remember they (Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani) had a disagreement; he was unwell with a high fever when he attended my party."
He continued, "Yet, it was endearing to witness that, merely two hours later, they were seated together, sharing a meal, and she was taking care of him. It was then that I sensed something was brewing between them."
Varun chimed in, adding, "Absolutely! We wrapped up shooting a song, and as we were leaving, Kiara Advani seemed so elated, anticipating Sid's arrival despite his fever."
"It was as if some unspoken connection was evident, seeing Sidharth muster the strength to attend a party despite his fever just to meet a girl," he remarked.
