The days are not going well for The Kapil Sharma Show. First Kapil’s rift with Vivek Agnihotri, then reports of the show going off-air, and now a lead member of the cast exiting the show. You heard it right, Sumona Chakravarti might be leaving the show as she has received an offer from a Bengali show.
As per the reports making rounds on the internet, Sumona Chakravarti, who was seen playing the character of Bhuri on Kapil Sharma’s show is leaving the show.

A report by NDTV suggested that Sumona Chakravarti has been roped in to host a Bengali travel show titled Shonar Bengal. Throughout the reality show, the actress will be seen exploring the state and will also share some lesser-known facts about the region and its people.

The actress has been a part of the show since 2013. Earlier she used to play Majnu Sharma and when the show shifted to Sony, she started playing the role of Sarla Gulati.
