While speculation about Sydney Sweeney's reported breakup with fiancé Jonathan Davino remains strong, the Hollywood star was recently seen running into her Anyone but You co-star Glen Powell.
People magazine reported that the two were also seen together at Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex in Dallas. Pictures of their reunion, posted on the Instagram page Deuxmoi, indicated that Sweeney, 27, and Powell, 36, were in town for Powell's sister, Leslie, for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Leslie was also a part of producing Anyone but You.
Though the two actors have been pummelled with dating rumors for years, they've always maintained that they're simply good friends. Their recent public outing comes amidst speculation that Sweeney and Davino, 41, who became engaged in 2022, have broken off. Representatives for both Sweeney and Powell haven't commented on the situation as of March 30.
Sweeney and Davino have been together since 2018, but recent events have sparked rumors of whether they are engaged or not. According to reports, the Euphoria actress has been residing in a hotel instead of with Davino. Moreover, fans also pointed out that she recently removed a picture of the two kissing from an Instagram post that was first posted in January. Adding more fuel to the rumors, Sweeney has also been spotted without her engagement ring in recent social media posts.
Someone close to the pair reported to People that "things have been rocky" between the couple "for a long time."
Sweeney, who has typically kept her personal life private, last spoke about her relationship in a December 2023 interview with Glamour UK. She acknowledged her long-term commitment, saying, “I’ve been in a steady relationship for a really long time, which is not normal in this industry and not normal for my age,” referring to Davino as her “best friend.”
