Swedish House Mafia in Exciting Discussions with Coldplay for a Collaborative Remix

DJ Steve Angello, part of Swedish House Mafia alongside Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, revealed that they have discussed working on something new with Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin.

There are strong indications that British rock band Coldplay and Swedish House Mafia might collaborate on another track. The house supergroup previously remixed Coldplay's 2011 track 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall,' which sampled the 70s hit 'I Go to Rio' and achieved Top 10 status in the UK.

DJ Steve Angello, part of Swedish House Mafia alongside Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, revealed that they have discussed working on something new with Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin. Angello expressed enthusiasm about the potential collaboration, stating, "It would be cool to do something, so hopefully we can get it in the studio. That would be sick because his vocals and the writing style would work really well with how we sound."

Additionally, Nile Rodgers, known for his work with Chic, disclosed a top-secret project with Coldplay. Rodgers shared his positive experience working with the band and emphasized the collaborative and spiritual aspect of the process.

According to reports, Coldplay is gearing up to release a new album titled 'Moon Music' this year, following their 2021 release, 'Music of the Spheres.' Chris Martin had previously expressed interest in taking Coldplay into space for an exclusive live performance on the moon, although he acknowledged the challenge of sound transmission in the vacuum of space. Despite potential hurdles, Martin remains open to pushing boundaries for the sake of creative exploration.
