Super Nintendo World area to be opened in Universal Studios Japan on February 4

"Super Nintendo World" was originally scheduled to open in time for the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan but got delayed due to the pandemic.

The Osaka-based theme park, Universal Studios Japan is set to open its new Nintendo area on February 4 next year. 

"Super Nintendo World" was originally scheduled to open in time for the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan but got delayed due to the pandemic. The opening was pushed back from summer and has been re-announced now.

The area will feature attractions like Mario Kart races and other thrilling rides based on Nintendo games. 
Universal Studios Japan, owned by Comcast Corp has also revealed some new photos of the land with the main attraction, Mario Kart's Koopa Challenge.
