After 'Gadar 2', actor Sunny Deol will now win hearts all over again as he gears up for yet another sequel of yet another iconic film, that is, 'Border'. The makers dropped the big announcement and presented the fans with a special video for 'Border 2' on Thursday.
The video starts with an emotional voice-over by Sunny Deol himself, where he recalls, "27 saal pehle ek sipahi gaya tha wapas aane ki kasam, us kasam ko nibhana aur.qt India ki dhool ko salam karne liye wapas aaraha hai." The ending is marked with the eternal song 'Sandese Aate Hai' in the melodious voice of Sonu Nigam.
Border', released in 1997, had an ensemble cast that included Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry, and Puneet Issar. Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tabu, Raakhee, Pooja Bhatt, and Sharbani Mukherjee supported this fictionalized account of the true Battle of Longewala. Music was provided by Anu Malik, with the lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar. 'Border was a turning point of sorts for war depiction in the history of Indian films.
