Star cast members announced for GoT prequel : House of the Dragons

Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy and Matt Smith will be starring in the straight-to-series drama alongside Paddy Considine, whose role as King Viserys Targaryen had been announced earlier.

 

It's been quite a while since the last ever season of Game of Thrones aired but fans have remained as excited because of the announcement of prequel to the series, House of Dragons, coming up. 
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy and Matt Smith will be starring in the straight-to-series drama alongside Paddy Considine, whose role as King Viserys Targaryen had been announced earlier. 
Cooke will be seen as Alicent Hightower, daughter of the Hand of the King, Otto Hightower while D'Arcy will portray the role of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the king's first-born child of pure Valyrian blood and a dragonrider. Finally, Smith will be playing Prince Daemon Targaryen, younger brother to King Viserys and heir to the throne.
The 10-episode series takes place 300 years before the events of GoT and will tell the story of House Targaryen.
