Sonu Sood Mourns Vijayakanth's Death

It's heartbreaking to bid farewell to the legendary Tamil star Vijayakanth, and actor Sonu Sood took a moment to honor their collaboration in the film 'Kallazhagar,' reflecting on how much he owes to the late actor.

Vijayakanth, renowned for his roles and his leadership in the Tamil Nadu assembly, passed away at the age of 71. Known affectionately as the "Captain" by his fans for his portrayals of military characters, he founded Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) and left an indelible mark on cinema and politics.

Sonu Sood paid homage to the 'Vetri' actor, sharing a poignant post on social media. He posted a picture of Vijayakanth along with stills from their shared movie 'Kallazhagar.'

Expressing deep gratitude to Vijayakanth for kickstarting his career, Sonu shared his heartfelt sentiments: "Kallazgar, my first film ever, was a gift from the legend 'VIJAYKANTH' sir. He came across this still of mine, and in no time, I was filming with him. I owe my career to him. Will miss you so much, sir. RIP CAPTAIN."

The 1999 Tamil action drama 'Kallazhagar,' directed by Bharathi, featured Vijayakanth and Laila in lead roles, with Sonu portraying the character of Narayana.

As for Sonu Sood's upcoming projects, he is set to appear in 'Fateh,' a film that also stars Jacqueline Fernandez.
