Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have stepped into the White House Correspondents' Dinner; the evening of the event being held in Washington, D.C., has, to a great extent, been enhanced by their presence, bringing a touch of glamour.
The White House Correspondents' Association hand-picked Johansson for the evening festivities to be accompanied by Jost.
For the evening festivities, she wore an Armani Prive white silk gown with delicate crystal embellishments. Jost, for his part, wore an Armani navy blue tuxedo with a single-button peak lapel, which was detailed with satin. He wore a classic white evening shirt and a fine-tuned bow tie, according to people.com.
A dinner event, aside from the gathering of the most distinguished guests, also became an establishment of fundraising for the WHCA, which grants scholarships to journalism students and awards given to journalists.
The dinner showcases a comedy headliner, boasting a list of big names including but not limited to Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel, and Conan O'Brien, among many others who have given speeches with wit and humor in previous years.
