Actress Sara Ali Khan, known for her roles in films like 'Atrangi Re,' 'Kedarnath,' and 'Simmba,' has clarified that she is not dating Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, who is currently focused on the ongoing World Cup.
Sara is scheduled to appear on the popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan' in its eighth season, alongside actress Ananya Panday. According to the latest promo of the show, Sara issued this clarification during the episode.
The promo 'the show host Karan Johar telling Sara: “There were alleged rumours about you dating Shubman Gill.”
To which she quipped: “You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka saara duniya galat Sara ke peecche pada hai.”
Sara Ali Khan was referring to Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. During the recent World Cup match, spectators teased Shubman Gill with Sara's name, which caught the attention of Virat Kohli. Kohli responded by asking them to call the cricketer by his name and pointing to his name on the back of his jersey.
The upcoming episode of 'Koffee With Karan' promises to be a fun ride, with the conversation centered on the ex-partners of the actresses. The episode will feature laughter, revelations, and candid conversations, with show host Karan Johar saying, "You both have ex-boyfriends in common."
