Ryan Reynolds Reacts to Martha Stewart's Claim He's 'Not So Funny in Real Life'

Actor Ryan Reynolds has responded to comments that he isn't as funny off-screen as he is on-screen, which were made by Martha Stewart on her appearance on the November Rent Free game show by Bilt Rewards, According to The Hollywood Reporter.

Discussing with Bilt CEO Ankur Jain which celebrities are the most fun to hang out with, Stewart described Reynolds as "very serious." She said, "He's probably on the list just 'cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don't see his face."

More of that, she said, "And you want to know something? He's not so funny in real life. No, he's not so funny. He's very serious." Stewart, who is Reynolds' neighbor, continued to recognize, "He's a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn't funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again.".

In response, Reynolds gave his opinions on social media Saturday with a chuckle by saying, "I'd disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is surprisingly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so.".
