Actress Cameron Diaz and her co-star Jude Law from the film 'The Holiday' reportedly developed real-life feelings for each other during the shoot of the 2006 Christmas classic. In the movie, Diaz's character, Amanda Woods, falls for Law's character, Graham, while Kate Winslet's character, Iris, finds love with Miles Dumont, played by Jack Black.
At the time of filming, both Diaz and Law were single, having recently gone through breakups (Cameron with Justin Timberlake and Jude with Sienna Miller). It was reported that the year after the film's release, Jude Law flew to America to spend time with Cameron.
According to a source at the time, "Cameron and Jude became very close while working together, but now that friendship has turned into romance." Jude apparently planned to take Cameron on a series of dinner dates, emphasizing that they had a lot of fun making 'The Holiday,' and that was a key aspect of their relationship. However, neither of them wanted to rush into anything due to recent heartbreaks.
Rumors about their connection resurfaced in 2011 when Cameron was in London filming 'Gambit.' A source stated that they got in touch, but their love did not last long, and trust issues and disappointments impacted their relationship. Despite the ups and downs, they reportedly maintained a casual relationship.
In 2012, they were allegedly seen kissing at an LA hotel before checking into a bungalow together. Cameron expressed her admiration for Jude in an interview, stating, "Everyone has a preconceived idea about Jude which does not correspond to reality. The character he plays in ‘The Holiday’ is very like him. He's charismatic, fun, open and charming. It's very easy to fall in love with him."
