After years of speculations regarding their relationship, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are finally engaged, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
Particulars of the engagement ceremony are yet to be disclosed, but the couple is set to get married in February 2026, according to the HT report.
The two actors have been rumoured to be dating each other since they first worked together in the 2018 hit Geetha Govindam and the 2019 film Dear Comrade.
Throughout their years in the industry, they have frequently been seen together, with many speculating about their romance. The two recently organized the 43rd India Day Parade in New York in August and appeared at an event called Bharat Beyond Borders.
Fans have often seen Rashmika and Vijay posting vacation selfies from the same destination, lending more authenticity to the speculations that they were secretly dating. In 2024, both celebrities confirmed that they were not alone but refused to reveal their partners. They were recently spotted stepping out of the airport together in the same vehicle, fueling speculations that they are finally set to make the relationship public.
Rashmika Mandanna was recently seen in the movie Kuberaa, along with Dhanush and Nagarjuna. She will next be seen in Maddock's horror-comedy universe flick, Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, for a Diwali 2025 release. She will also be seen in Cocktail 2, which stars Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, and audiences can await her appearance in Rahul Ravindran's The Girlfriend and Rawindra Pulle's Mysaa.
Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Kingdom, alongside Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse. The film was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
