'Animal' revolves around Ranbir Kapoor portraying the son of India’s wealthiest man, played by Anil Kapoor, who confronts an antagonist portrayed by Bobby Deol. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna.

Much like Reddy's previous works such as the Telugu-language 'Arjun Reddy' (2017) and its Hindi remake 'Kabir Singh' (2019), 'Animal' delves into the nuances of toxic masculinity.
