Spanning over three days from February 19 to 21, their nuptial affair shines a spotlight on sustainability initiatives.
For starters, the couple has opted for digital invites over traditional paper ones, aligning with their eco-friendly ethos. Moreover, there won't be any lavish firework displays, echoing their commitment to reducing environmental impact.
Going the extra mile, Rakul and Jackky are collaborating with environmental experts to evaluate and offset the carbon footprint of their wedding festivities.
These experts will meticulously assess the environmental ramifications of the celebrations and recommend the necessary tree plantations to restore ecological balance. In line with this advice, the couple plans to plant these trees as a symbolic gesture towards their environmental stewardship, either immediately after the wedding or the following day.
Recently, their digital wedding invitation surfaced, featuring the hashtag #ABDONOBHAGNANI on the opening card.
The choice of Goa as their wedding destination holds sentimental value, reportedly being the place where Rakul and Jackky first found love.
Jackky rose to fame with his debut film 'Kal Kissne Dekha' in 2009, followed by notable roles in movies such as ‘F.A.L.T.U’, 'Ajab Gazabb Love', 'Rangrezz', and 'Youngistaan', among others.
