Bihar cinema icon Pawan Singh has quit reality show Rise & Fall, when the show was picking up, mainly because of his exchanges and jibes with social media star and chat show host Nayandeep Rakshit.
One of the production team members confirmed with IANS that Singh's family arrived on the set to pick him up. On leaving, the actor explained to the contestants that he "was never a contestant but came for sometime."
This is the second exit from the show, after wrestler Sangeeta Phogat, a daughter of wrestling coach Mahavir Singh Phogat—the renowned coach whose life inspired the movie Dangal.
Earlier, in an intimate conversation with contestant Arbaz Patel, vlogger Dhanashree Verma also talked about the frequent rumors of her divorce with cricketer Yuzendra Chahal, labeling them as "deliberately created" and "baseless".
She said, “Ye sab jo divorce ki baatein chal rahi hain, vo bilkul hi banai gayi cheezein hain. Maine usko already peeche chhod diya hai, (This entire chatter and gossip about my divorce is all made up. I have left behind this chapter of my life)”.
Dhanashree said firmly, making it clear she had moved past the chatter. Arbaz Patel, opening up in return, responded with empathy and said, “Bahar log hamesha kahani banate rahenge, but jo andar feel hota hai vo asli hai. Mujhe bhi kai baar apne struggles samjhane pade hain (People will always keep on spreading wrong stories, but what you feel on the inside is important and true. Even I have had to constantly explain myself all the time)”.
