Rocker Ozzy Osbourne has a bold perspective on surviving a potential nuclear blast in the event of World War III. As he approaches his 75th birthday on December 3, he humorously expressed his willingness to invite adversaries to target his mansion to test his resilience in the face of such an event.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Ozzy shared his unconventional stance, stating that if a global conflict erupted and significant bombs were utilized, he'd put a sizable target on his roof, daring them to aim at his residence. He humorously envisioned emerging from the wreckage, even with severe injuries, to defiantly declare his survival.
Reflecting on receiving the Icon Award at the Rolling Stone UK Awards, Ozzy expressed a mix of humility and surprise, acknowledging his long and eventful career that has brought both remarkable moments and challenges.
Despite his imminent retirement and his ongoing battle with a mild form of Parkinson's, Ozzy pointed out that his major health struggles stemmed from surgeries following a 2019 accident. This incident led to complications with the metal rods in his back, initially inserted after a quad bike accident in 2003. Subsequent spinal surgeries, including the discovery of a tumor, have posed significant health hurdles for the legendary musician. As a result, he now relies on a cane for mobility, grappling with balance issues.
Ozzy's resilient spirit, coupled with his trademark humor, remains a defining aspect of his persona as he navigates health challenges while looking back on his illustrious career.
