Hollywood actor Miles Teller has said that no special effects or green screen was used to film the action sequences in the upcoming movie Top Gun: Maverick.
"There is no green screen in a Top Gun movie. Every shot, every stunt, was the result of the work, the real sweat, that we all put into it. The production was over the course of a full year, which was definitely the longest shoot I have ever been part of," said Teller in an interview with Men’s Journal about the sequel to 1986 hit Top Gun which will also see Hollywood star Tom Cruise reprise his role as Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell.
Miles who shot to fame with award winning musical drama Whiplash will play Bradley 'Rooster' Bradshaw, the son of Nick 'Goose' Bradshaw, who was portrayed by actor Anthony Edwards. In the first Top Gun movie, Goose had died.
Top Gun: Maverick is set for a worldwide release in July 2021
