Rapper Lil Nas X has given fans a glimpse of what seems to be his upcoming musical project in a teaser shared on Instagram. The post features both an image and a video, with the former depicting the Grammy winner against a grainy black-and-white background, holding a large machine gun, dressed in a lavish white gown and angel wings. The video showcases a rainy landscape over a field of green, revealing the rapper's holographic logo formed from raindrops.

Captioning the post, Lil Nas X asked his followers if they were ready for a show, referencing his 2021 debut album, Montero. In November, he had also teased a snippet of a new track on Twitter, indicating a potential shift in theme with the caption: “Y’all mind if i enter my christian era?”

The snippet featured Lil Nas X singing lines like “Father stretch my hands/ The lonely road seems to last the longest” and “Help me with my plans/ Everything seems to go nowhere.”

Lil Nas X's debut album, Montero, was released in September 2021, accompanied by an unconventional pregnancy shoot that he had announced after being inspired by Megan Thee Stallion's verse on his song ‘Dolla Sign Slime.’ The rapper shared that the idea for the pregnancy shoot came to him immediately after listening to Megan Thee Stallion's impactful contribution to his track.
