Rekha Pandey, a contestant on the quiz-based reality show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', touched the heart of the show's host, veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, with her thoughtful gesture.
Rekha, an ardent fan of Big B’s son, Abhishek Bachchan, brought a gift specifically for the 'Yuva' actor. Amitabh Bachchan playfully asked why she brought just one gift and not another for him, to which Rekha expressed her admiration for Abhishek, stating that she holds him in high regard not only as a terrific actor but also as an exemplary son.
She shared, “This is for my favorite Abhishek sir, I admire him a lot. He is not only a great actor, but as a son, I have never seen anyone as ideal in my life.”
Rekha recalled a previous instance where Amitabh Bachchan himself praised Abhishek on the show. She mentioned, “Sir, you yourself said that when he came on the show last time, he sat in your seat and asked you, 'Father, how am I as a son?' and you replied, 'You are so deserving that you are sitting in my seat.'”
Amitabh Bachchan was visibly moved by Rekha's words, acknowledging the pride every father feels for their son's accomplishments. He thanked her for the gift and appreciated her kind words about Abhishek Bachchan.
Rekha managed to win Rs 6,40,000 on the show, showcasing her knowledge and spirit.
