Johnny Depp has issued a response following allegations made by his 'Blow' co-star Lola Glaudini regarding mistreatment during the filming of the 2001 movie.

The controversy arose after an episode of the Powerful Truth Angels podcast, originally aired on January 30, resurfaced, featuring Glaudini recounting instances of verbal abuse she endured from Depp.

In a statement from Depp's representative, it was asserted, "Johnny consistently prioritizes fostering positive working relationships with both cast and crew, and this portrayal starkly contrasts with the memories of other individuals present on set during that period."

According to a report by deadline.com, Glaudini recalled a specific incident where the film's director, Ted Demme, instructed her to laugh during a scene while Depp delivered a monologue.

Describing the encounter, Glaudini recounted, "I hear the cue, and I burst out laughing as directed. Johnny Depp, however, upon hearing 'cut,' approached me, pointed his finger at my face, and proceeded to berate me, questioning my professionalism and disrupting his performance."

She continued, "This occurred on my very first day on set, and having never met Depp prior, I was left in shock. As a newcomer to studio productions, having previously worked primarily in independent films, being confronted in such a manner by someone I had admired was deeply disheartening. All I could think was, 'Don't show weakness, don't cry.'"

Reflecting on the aftermath, Glaudini recalled a later encounter where Depp offered what she termed "a half-hearted apology," further highlighting the lack of support from Demme, who passed away in 2002.

"There was no acknowledgment or apology from Demme either," she stated. "Feeling abandoned and ostracized by the rest of the crew after the incident, I was left to navigate the remainder of filming in isolation."

Glaudini concluded, "I became a social outcast on set, labeled as the troublemaker for simply enduring Depp's outburst."
