Veteran actor Jeremy Irons has boarded the cast of Ridley Scott's upcoming project 'Gucci'. As the name suggests, the movie is about the Gucci family's fashion dynasty and murder of the grandson of the founder of Guccio Gucci.
The movie also features popstar Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Gucci's grandson Maurizio Gucci who was tried and convicted for orchestrating her husband's assasination and was nicknamed 'The Black Widow'.
Apart from Lady Gaga, the cast includes big names such as Jared Leto, Adam Driver Al Pacino, Jack Huston and Reeve Carney. Irons has been roped in to play the role of Maurizio's father, Rodolfo Gucci while Adam Driver will portray Maurizio. The movie is being adapted from Sara Gay Forden's book, The H
