Jenna Ortega Stuns in Crinkling 'Wallpaper' Dress at Venice Film Festival

This is quite the dramatic dress, isn't it? It's a custom Harris Reed creation," Ortega says of the outfit in an Instagram video posted by Entertainment Tonight. "A little-known fact about this ensemble is that these rings are the result of a collaboration with Colleen Atwood, costume designer of 'Beetlejuice' and 'Wednesday'. This is actually just wallpaper right here, so every time I move, it crinkles.

The star, Jenna Ortega, currently attending the 81st Venice Film Festival in Italy, was out of this world in an eye-catcher by the great Harris Reed. She said the special fabric her dress was made from-its pattern rather like wallpaper-crinkles with every step she takes.

The caption in the video called out Ortega's homage to the original "Beetlejuice," as she has continued the celebratory nods to its legacy on the press tour for the sequel.

Ortega brought drama onto the festival's red carpet at the world premiere of "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" in a custom Dior Couture gown that merged with the red carpet, the layers placed at strategic points in the shape of a heart.

Helmed by Tim Burton of "Frankenweenie," "Corpse Bride," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," and "Mars Attacks!", "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is a fantasy comedy horror sequel to the 1988-classic "Beetlejuice." The film also stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe.

Picking up 36 years after the events of the original film, the plot follows the Deetz family back to Winter River due to the sad demise of Charles Deetz. Lydia's life is flipped upside down when her teenaged daughter, Astrid, finds a mystifying model of a town in the attic. This sets the accidental opening of a gateway to the afterlife, thereby unleashing the villainous monster Beetlejuice.
