Halle Bailey Criticizes Ex-Partner for Sharing Photo of Their Baby Without Consent

Hollywood actress Halle Bailey has blasted her ex-boyfriend DDG for showing their baby to 'millions' of strangers online without first asking her permission.

The Little Mermaid star ended things with rapper DDG, 27, last month, nearly a year after welcoming their son Halo, reports Mirror UK.

Her mother was mortified that the musician Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr was showing off their baby on YouTube personality Kai Cenat's Twitch livestream to the content creator's 13.8 million followers.

X, formerly Twitter, wasn't quiet either. Halle, who suffers with 'severe postpartum', stated, "Hi everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don't approve of my baby being on a stream tonight.". I wasn't told or notified, and I'm extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I'm his mother and protector, and I'm very saddened that I wasn't told, especially when I am out of town".

According to 'Mirror UK, she has since deleted the tweet. In a second tweet, which has also been deleted, she claimed she's been battling with 'severe postpartum' and crucified former flame for disrespecting her personal space.

"As a woman who is suffering with severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. No one knows what someone is going through until they snap", she said.

Voices of support flooded the comment section as the tweets were still visible on the timeline, including one that said, "Totally understandable; boundaries are important during such a sensitive time. Hope they can work things out".

Another user responded to it and said, "Respect her boundaries—postpartum is no joke".

Last month, DDG announced that the couple had split after nearly three years together. In July, the couple finally introduced the world to their little boy's face.

DDG said, "After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways".

Halo had given the world a glimpse of their little boy back in January this year as she shared a photograph holding on to baby Halo's hand.
