Ali Wong and Steven Yeun both clinched prestigious Golden Globe awards for their outstanding performances in the limited series 'Beef'. Wong secured the Best Female Actor award, while Yeun received his first Golden Globe for Best Male Actor in the same category.

Steven Yeun rose to prominence with his role in the popular American post-apocalyptic horror series 'The Walking Dead'. In 'Beef', created by Korean director Lee Sung Jin, Yeun portrayed the character of Danny Cho, a struggling contractor of Korean descent embroiled in a road rage incident that spirals into a prolonged feud.

The series, consisting of ten episodes, premiered on Netflix to critical acclaim on April 6, 2023. Critics lauded both Yeun's and Wong's performances, as well as the series' writing and direction.

The official 'X' account celebrated Steven Yeun's achievement, announcing his win for Best Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Television Motion Picture for his remarkable performance in 'Beef' at the 81st Golden Globe Awards.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards took place in Beverly Hills, California, and audiences in India had the opportunity to stream the ceremony via Lionsgate Play.
